BayScribe provides solutions for converting clinical narrative, whether spoken or written, into structured codified clinical data. Using Health Fidelity's NLP platform, BayScribe v6si solutions will accelerate the utilization of unstructured clinical data, fully integrating and codifying electronic medical record (EMR) content and thus advancing Health Information Exchange via semantic interoperability. An example is BayScribe's collaboration with Verizon Connected Healthcare.
Using sophisticated semantic technologies, unstructured clinical data is codified through the Health Fidelity NLP platform. This massively increases the useable data available from EMRs, as well as, a wide array of other clinical applications. As much as 80 percent of medical information stored by healthcare organizations is unstructured and therefore unusable for extraction, analysis, automation and exchange. Powered by Health Fidelity's NLP platform, BayScribe's Semantic Interoperability solution can harness the hidden value of narrative content to leapfrog the current generation of HIT applications.
