(BeaconGov) recently announced that it has signed a formal mentor-protege agreement with ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT). Approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), this mentor-protege agreement will provide a structured development assistance program for BeaconGov focused on management, business development, and process improvement.
ManTech will provide senior-level mentoring to foster BeaconGov's growth and development. This mentoring assistance will include general management and strategic planning advice, business development assistance to expand BeaconGov's prime and subcontracting base, and process improvement assistance to aid in the maturation of BeaconGov's quality tools and processes.
BeaconGov provides strategic technology, engineering, and business solutions to the federal, state and local governments. A disadvantaged, woman-owned small business, BeaconGov also provides space mission support to NASA for major launches at the Goddard Space Flight Center. In 2014, NASA awarded BeaconGov's team a Center Award for Exceptional Achievement for a Systems Engineering Team for its work on NASA's Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) mission.
