LANSING, Mich., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Accident Fund Holdings, Inc. today announced that Becky Holnagel, Actuarial Director, has earned the Fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society (FCAS) designation, the highest credentials offered by the Casualty Actuary Society (CAS). Through this achievement, Holnagel joins an elite group of Fellows nationwide as well as becoming Accident Fund Holdings' fifth FCAS. She will travel this fall to attend the CAS Annual Meeting & Conferment Ceremony in Washington D.C.

Holnagel joined Accident Fund four years ago as an actuary and was promoted one year ago to Actuarial Director. As Actuarial Director she is responsible for pricing and reserving for workers compensation insurance. She started her career in insurance as an underwriter at Citizens Insurance Company of America, moving from Citizens to MEEMIC Insurance Company, where she served as an actuary.
Holnagel earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from the University of Michigan, Flint. She is still active with the University of Michigan, Flint, serving as a university liaison, promoting the actuarial profession to college students. Holnagel lives in Okemos, Mich. with her husband, Josh and her one-year-old son, Adam.
