BEHR® Paint Invites Fans Nationwide to Rename Their Favorite Hues Based on Captured Memories
ColorAMemory.com Connects People With Colors From Meaningful Photos, Lets Fans Personalize and Name Paint Colors
SANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- BEHR® Paint is bringing memories to life through color with the launch of ColorAMemory.com. Tapping into the widely popular Way Back Wednesday (#WBW), Throwback Thursday (#TBT), and Flashback Friday (#FBF) hash tags, fans are invited to upload their throwback photos and digitally match a color from the photo to a BEHR paint color. Fans can then, for the first time in Behr history, personalize and rename that color for the chance to win a sample of paint or a trip down memory lane.

Inspiration for #ColorAMemory stems from fans who have expressed interest in helping name paint colors. This is the first time Behr is opening up the opportunity for fans to weigh in by suggesting new paint names based off of personal memories and to share them socially.
Now through Nov. 13, fans who have created a #ColorAMemory image, can also register for the chance to win an 8-oz. paint sample of their color and one lucky winner will win $4,500 for a "trip down memory lane" to visit the location of his or her cherished memory.
