Ben Askren and Joe Warren tapped to succeed 'Big' John McCarthy as co-hosts of 'Lineup MMA' podcast

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill., June 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Champion fighters Ben Askren and Joe Warren have been tapped as Sean Wheelock's new co-hosts for one of the top MMA podcasts online. The show, formerly known as 'Let's Get It On', will now be dubbed 'Lineup MMA' and will be available at LineupMMA.com along with iTunes, Google Play, and all major podcast outlets.  Since its infancy, famed referee 'Big' John McCarthy anchored the show alongside Wheelock.  McCarthy, who recently moved to Las Vegas to take-on a more rigorous refereeing and judging workload, announced he would be leaving earlier this month.

According to Wheelock, "Big John will remain an executive producer of the podcast and we're both really excited about Ben and Joe coming on board; the stories we'll cover, you're not going to hear on the cookie-cutter MMA shows." Both Askren and Warren are known to be very outspoken, often providing controversial commentary about other fighters and promotions.  Askren is the former Bellator welterweight champion and the current ONE Championship 170lb champ. Warren is a former two-division Bellator champion, with titles at both featherweight and bantamweight.
