Bench International Adds Catherine Balin to Executive Team

LOS ANGELES, July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bench International, a global, milestone-based, performance-driven executive recruiting and consulting firm serving the life sciences industry, today announced that Catherine (Cathy) Balin is rejoining the firm as a senior vice president. She will help lead Bench's retained executive search and strategic human resources consulting activities.  

Balin has more than three decades of experience with talent identification and human resources strategic planning in industries including healthcare and financial services. Most recently, she has been a vice president for EXTTI, Incorporated, a California-based human resources consulting firm. There, she serves as a human resource consultant for a variety of industries, including global life sciences. Prior to EXTTI, Balin worked with Bench for 11 years. During that time, she helped the firm establish long-term relationships with life sciences companies and brought unique talent to the sector.

Balin holds a graduate certificate from the Joint International Executive Management Program of Harvard University and the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and a bachelor's degree in Public Administration with an emphasis on Human Resource Management from San Diego State University.
