KAUKAUNA, Wis., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- In his new science fiction novel, "The Manifest Destiny: Operation: Clean Slate" (published by iUniverse), masterful author Joshua Thomas Mischler transports readers to a future alternate Earth, where invisible dimensional portals exist that allow beings from other worlds to visit and a diabolical plot threatens the very existence of the human race.

In this parallel world, a private intelligence organization created a device known as the Chronosphere, which allows individuals to cross the boundaries of time and space. About the Author

Mischler has been a fan of science fiction, fantasy, and horror and has wanted to be a writer since he was very young. He has studied to become a paralegal as well as a private investigator before he started to pursue his writing career. For the last five years, he has been working as a security guard at an outdoor lumberyard/hardware store while writing in his free time He currently lives in a small town called Freedom, Wis. with his black lab and spends his free time kayaking, backpacking, and watching an occasional football game. "The Manifest Destiny" is his first official novel, though he has more to publish in the coming years. He is also planning on adapting this first novel and all forthcoming sequels into comic books for distribution.
