(NASDAQ: BNTC) is pleased to announce that the previously announced transaction to redomicile from Australia to the United States has been fully implemented today. The redomiciliation was approved by Benitec shareholders at a Scheme Meeting held on March 26, 2020, and confirmed by the Supreme Court of Queensland on March 30, 2020.
The shares of Benitec Biopharma, Inc. common stock issued today in connection with the redomiciliation will trade on The Nasdaq Capital Market LLC ("Nasdaq") under the symbol "BNTC", and Benitec Biopharma Inc. will continue to be subject to the reporting requirements of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") and applicable corporate governance rules of Nasdaq.
