Benjamin Landa, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Holds Fundraiser for Governor George Pataki
NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y., July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Benjamin Landa, a New York entrepreneur and philanthropist, known for his support of charitable causes and religious organizations in the United States and Israel, hosted a fundraiser earlier this week in support of former New York Governor George Pataki's bid for the Republican nomination and the three-time governor's bid for the White House.
At a reception in his home, Landa told a group of over 100 friends and business associates that Governor Pataki is a thoughtful and principled leader, a visionary and a man with a strong moral compass. "George Pataki has the strength, intellect and global perspective that will serve him well as the leader of the free world," said Landa. "George has been a close friend for many years and I know he will protect America's interests as our President. I am confident that he will guard the wellbeing of all American's, Israel and all U.S. allies as our nation navigates the increasingly complex waters of today's international affairs."
Having bought his first nursing home in 1987, Landa now runs SentosaCare, an organization he and his business partner formed to service, guide and assist affiliated nursing home facilities in fulfilling their commitment to quality health care. Sentosa today is the largest nursing home network in the State of New York, providing nursing care for thousands of residents. Sentosa offers specialized care and both short- and long-term rehabilitation, in addition to a myriad of other skilled nursing services in locations throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Ben Landa is also a longtime supporter of the Crohn's and Colitis Federation of America and is a supporting founder of the Chabad of Port Washington, NY. Additionally, Landa is one of the leading supporting members of two Brooklyn, NY synagogues.
