Board-certified plastic surgeon John M. Anastasatos, MD, FACS, of Los Angeles Plastic Surgery has been invited to join the international faculty of BRASCON 2026, the annual meeting of the Breast Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons Association (BRASA), held October 8 through 10, 2026, in New Delhi, India. On Saturday, October 10, he will deliver the meeting's keynote address on aesthetic breast surgery, present a second invited talk on breast reduction and mastopexy, and co-chair a morning scientific session.

Anastasatos, MD, FACS, a board-certified plastic surgeon and founder of Los Angeles Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, will serve as a member of the international faculty at BRASCON 2026, the annual meeting of the Breast Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons Association (BRASA), taking place October 8 through 10, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza New Delhi Mayur Vihar in the New Delhi National Capital Region. On Saturday, October 10, Dr. Anastasatos will deliver the Keynote on Aesthetic Breast Surgery at 10:30 a.m., followed by a second presentation during the afternoon Breast Reduction session.

BRASCON 2026 brings together plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgeons from India and abroad for three days of scientific sessions, orations, panel discussions and a live operative workshop. The program spans oncoplastic surgery, microsurgical breast reconstruction, aesthetic breast surgery and post-mastectomy lymphedema surgery, with dedicated sessions on breast augmentation, reduction, mastopexy and revision surgery. The meeting is led by Organising Chairperson Prof. (Dr.) Mohit Sharma and Organising Secretary Dr. Shikha Gupta of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, and its international faculty includes surgeons from the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy and Japan.

Dr. Anastasatos's keynote, titled "Breast Augmentation, Augmentation Mastopexy and Related Procedures: Techniques, Considerations and Challenges," anchors the main hall's aesthetic breast surgery program on the final day of the meeting. The talk addresses the technical and planning considerations involved in breast augmentation and in augmentation mastopexy, which combines a breast lift with implant placement, along with the challenges surgeons encounter in these procedures. His keynote leads directly into the meeting's Breast Augmentation session.

That afternoon, Dr. Anastasatos will present "The Supero-Medial Pedicle in Breast Reduction and Mastopexy: My Personal Technique and Preference After 25+ Years." In the superomedial pedicle approach, the nipple and areola remain attached to a segment of tissue from the upper inner portion of the breast that carries their blood supply, while excess tissue is removed and the breast is reshaped. Earlier in the day, he will also serve as a co-chair of the Breast Lipofilling and Fat Grafting session alongside Dr. Bhagwat Mathur of the United Kingdom and Dr. Filip Stillaert of Belgium.

The invitation continues a year of international teaching for Dr. Anastasatos. In March 2026, he delivered three lectures at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, including a presentation on aesthetic breast surgery, and was subsequently recognized by the Society for his contributions. In September, he joined the international faculty of the 3rd Mediterranean Conference of Plastic Surgery Innovations in Crete, Greece, where he presented on the endoscopic brow lift.
