Bicclescombe Grange Announces Major Improvements to its Holiday Home Facilities

Bicclescombe Grange is to improve its self-catering facilities, providing two more en-suite first floor bathrooms and increasing sleeping capacity from 23 to 26. Improvements to the swimming pool area, table tennis room and driveway will also be made.

Available to hire for both local and national large family groups, works parties, or any kind of special get-together, the improved facilities will provide a lot more flexibility in layout, and offer much more convenience to all with the additional en-suite bathrooms.

The swimming pool area, the main reason people book the property, is also being overhauled. A new liner and new limestone coping stones will be installed and the old manual roller cover will be replaced with a new automated version. The floor in the tennis room is being replaced, the driveway and car park area is being re-surfaced, and finally the whole exterior of the house is being re-painted.

Andrew Swinton, joint owner of the Grange explained: "We are constantly making improvements at the Grange and this was just the next step. We've listened to feedback from previous and prospective guests, and compared ourselves with our competitors, and hope these improvements will help make us the first choice in large holiday home accommodation. We currently have a four star with gold award rating from Visit England and these changes will almost certainly move us into the five star bracket."

Work will start on 30th August 2016 and is expected to be completed within six weeks.

Bicclescombe Grange has been owned and run as a holiday home by Andrew and Allison Swinton since October 2004. Located in Ilfracombe, North Devon, close to several glorious sandy beaches, the house offers self-catering accommodation for large groups and has its own large indoor swimming pool, hot tub, full size snooker table and many other facilities.
