Big Star Media Group Receives Prestigious Award Nomination

CLARKSDALE, Miss., March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Big Star Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: BMGI) (the "Company") a diversified entertainment and information distribution company, today announced it has received a nomination for the prestigious 2010 Blues Music Awards presented by the Blues Foundation.

The Company received a nomination for DVD of the Year for the film entitled 'Down to the Crossroads – Volume 1'.  This film features George Thorogood and the Destroyers with legendary blues man Eddie Shaw. 'Down to the Crossroads' is a series filmed largely at the world-famous Ground Zero Blues Club located in Clarksdale, Mississippi where a modern rock star is paired with a blues legend and extols the impact the blues great has made on their career and the industry as a whole.  Additional mixing and post-production work was completed at the Clarksdale Sound Stage.
