Biggest Names in Jazz Coming to Richmond for a Third Year

RICHMOND, Va., June 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The third annual Richmond Jazz Festival at Maymont, presented by Altria is only a few weeks away.  Over 30 national and international jazz artists from around the world will showcase their talent in Richmond, VA, August 10-12, 2012.

The Richmond Jazz Festival is a 3-day event.  On Friday, August 10th local and regional artists will perform at "Homegrown at the Hipp" at the historic Hippodrome Theater.  August 11th and 12th attendees will enjoy musical performances on the 100-acres of Maymont.  Along with unforgettable musical performances, weekend activities include wine tastings featuring award-winning selections from the Chateau St. Michelle winery, exquisite cuisines prepared live by nationally renowned chefs, an artist meet & greet area, exclusive access to exotic gardens and a huge Marketplace of food and merchandise vendors.

Tickets are $20 for "Homegrown at Hipp" at the Hippodrome Theater on Friday, August 10 and $50 in advance per day for both Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12, or $90 for a weekend pass at Maymont.
