Bill Chamblee Named Among Best Lawyers in Dallas for 2015
DALLAS, April 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Trial lawyer Bill Chamblee has earned selection to D Magazine's 2015 listing of the Best Lawyers in Dallas based on his success defending trucking companies, health care providers, insurance companies and other business interests.
It is the second time the managing partner of Dallas' Chamblee, Ryan, Kershaw & Anderson, P.C., has been named to the list of the city's top attorneys. Selections are based on nominations from other lawyers and a unanimous vote by a panel of legal experts.

In the past 12 months, Mr. Chamblee's trial victories have included:
- A take-nothing jury verdict in a $1 million wrongful death lawsuit targeting a group of physicians after a child passed away.
- A take-nothing win in a civil assault trial against a Baylor Health Care Systems surgeon who was accused of offensive physical conduct. Mr. Chamblee proved that the plaintiff had a history of overreacting to innocuous greetings and had demonstrated other unreasonable behavior.
- Successful defense of a local catering company in a $5.5 million car crash lawsuit that resulted in the plaintiff receiving less than $27,000. Mr. Chamblee proved in trial that many of the plaintiff's injuries were pre-existing and that the plaintiff completely recovered within six to eight weeks of treatment.
- A take-nothing verdict on behalf of a property owner who was sued for $3 million in damages when a tenant's pit bull dog escaped and attacked a 7-year-old child who lived on a neighboring property. A jury determined the property owner was not liable.
Mr. Chamblee and his firm have represented more than 500 business interests in a variety of legal battles, winning favorable outcomes in a majority of those cases.
