Bill McLendon Promoted to President & CEO of CAV International, Inc.

GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- CAV International Inc., a US Government outsourcing contractor with expertise in airfield services & logistics, announces the promotion of Bill McLendon to President & Chief Executive Officer.  McLendon had previously served as the company's Chief Operating Officer. CAV (pronounced as in "cavalry") is a subsidiary of Ranger International Services Group, a private equity consolidator specialized in aerospace/defense services.  Mr. McLendon, a former USAF F-15 instructor pilot, has more than 25 years aerospace industry experience, is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy, and a Rhodes Scholar. As the new Chief Executive Officer of CAV International, McLendon will lead the continuing aggressive growth of that award winning company, with constant vigilance on quality, safety, and F.A.R. compliance. CAV has strong backing from large institutional shareholders, and a management team deeply experienced at multiple levels, which McLendon now leads.

The founder of CAV International, Carroll Vaughan, has been promoted by the Board of Directors to Chairman of the company.
