"We are also looking for donors who wish to contribute to a Believer float for a presence in the Thanksgiving Day Parade," said Paige Curtis, co-founder of the Believer campaign. "We hope to raise funds by late August to participate in the Parade. If someone already has a float in the Parade and would like to have Believers join them, it would be great. We would like to have Jill Jack, who wrote and performs the I'm a Believer Anthem, to sing on the float. We hope this will energize hundreds of people who are watching the parade to access our website at www.believeindetroit.org and volunteer in Detroit."
Curtis has written a new radio commercial for the campaign, and will be producing them in the next few weeks. WWJ radio has offered their studios free for the production
"We are very grateful to Pete Kowalski, station manager WWJ Newsradio 950/VP Director of Sales CBS Radio Detroit, for the time and effort on behalf of the campaign," said Curtis. Celebrities and community leaders will be invited to participate.
