BinWise, Inc. Names John Martin as Vice President of Sales

Former OpenTable executive John Martin brings over 25 years of restaurant experience to BinWise, Inc.

SAN FRANCISCO, March 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BinWise, Inc., the leading cloud-based software company managing restaurant beverage programs, today announced that John Martin has been named Vice President of Sales. Martin will be responsible for the entire sales operation at BinWise.

John worked in restaurants for 11 years before he was hired as the first sales person and 20th employee at OpenTable. At OpenTable, John was one of the top three sales performers annually from 1999 thru 2004. He won Account Executive of the year in 2003, and was promoted to Director of Sales in 2005. As Director, he was responsible for Mexico and the Western U.S. and Canada.

In the 16 months prior to joining the BinWise team, John helped several startups launch go-to-market plans including sales and execution plans for new customers. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami. He also currently serves as an Advisor to ChowNow, and was a board member of GirlVentures and The Ross School.
