Biocompare Releases Documentary on Antibody Validation Challenges

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Biocompare, the leading digital global resource for the life science industry, today released its documentary on "Reproducibility Issues in Life Science Research: Antibody Validation Challenges ".  The goal of the documentary is to bring together all key stakeholders—researchers, universities/institutions, antibody sellers/manufacturers, publishers, societies, and funding agencies—to acknowledge that issues with antibody validation do exist, to raise awareness on how they can contribute to irreproducible data, and to bring to light ongoing initiatives and potential solutions.

The film features more than 20 thought leaders and stakeholders who express their concerns about current practices in antibody validation and propose solutions that they hope will be implemented by the life science community.
