Since revolutionizing "in clinic" ELISA or serology testing in 1986 with ImmunoComb, Biogal Galed Labs has been at the forefront of providing unique and innovative diagnostic solutions to the veterinary professional.  

Biogal has now announced the launch of PCRun^[TM], a molecular detection test kit that makes Polymerase Chain Reaction testing (PCR) more accessible and affordable to all veterinary professionals.

PCR testing allows for highly specific diagnosis of infectious diseases.

The high sensitivity of PCR permits earlier detection of acute infections compared to serology tests. Such early detection gives vets a significant lead time in treatment.

While the accuracy of veterinary PCR testing has been undeniable, to date the conventional PCR testing procedure requires multiple steps, via expensive and complicated devices.

These devices have a long turnaround time, typically of 2-4 hours or longer and till today, could only be performed via specialized lab staff in a veterinary lab.

PCRun^[TM] is an isothermal molecular amplification method that has now allowed PCR testing to become faster, more affordable and accessible for veterinary clinic needs.
