BioMed Realty Launches New Mobile Application To Provide An Immersive Experience Of Its New Life Science Real Estate Projects

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: BMR) today became the first life science real estate company to launch a mobile application on the Apple® platform that provides tenants and brokers with an immersive introduction to the company's four new development opportunities in Boston/Cambridge, San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle.

The new application is now available for free download on iPhones and iPads from Apple's App Store.  This initial beta version of the application provides users with a number of experiences to understand the value and opportunities available at BioMed Realty's projects at 450 Kendall in Cambridge, i3 in San Diego, Gateway of Pacific in South San Francisco and BioMed Realty Research Center in Seattle.

The BioMed Realty app provides an interactive and comprehensive view of BioMed Realty's four new life science projects. The app provides for a virtual tour of these state-of-the-art laboratory and office buildings that are or can be developed in these four key markets, including buildings and floor plans, as well as detail on the planned benefits and amenities at these new properties. A must-have app for any life science real estate professional, the BioMed Realty app also allows users to connect directly with the right BioMed Realty people.

Of these four projects, 450 Kendall in Cambridge and BioMed Realty Research Center are under active construction.  The i3 and Gateway of the Pacific projects remain in the predevelopment phase.

The full version of the BioMed Realty app will be available later this year which will include all the BioMed Realty properties including the entire Wexford Science + Technology portfolio.
