BRISTOL, Pa., Nov. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- BioPlast Manufacturing, a manufacturer of plastic components used primarily for the medical research, clinical diagnostic and biotech environments, announced today that it has acquired Kord-Valmark, a leading manufacturer of quality petri dishes. This acquisition is aligned with BioPlast Manufacturing's strategy to offer clients a platform of products that are designed and tested by scientists for scientists and manufactured with the highest quality.
Kord-Valmark products have a proven track record of producing the highest quality petri dishes in the life sciences marketplace and exceeding customer standards and expectations. Kord-Valmark products will continue to be released under the Kord-Valmark name, however, the manufacturing process will move to BioPlast Manufacturing's Bristol, Pennsylvania injection molding facility in in mid-2016.
