BioTrends Research Group and the National Kidney Foundation Team Up to Capture the Voices of Patients with Kidney Disease

EXTON, Pa. and NEW YORK, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- BioTrends Research Group, Inc. and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) announce the publication of a Special Report: Patient Perspectives in Dialysis and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).  This important new syndicated study provides insights into patients with kidney disease, from the patients themselves.  Over 1,100 patients in the U.S. -- both those on dialysis and those with mid-late stage chronic kidney disease -- completed a survey about living with CKD.  The resulting report provides a comprehensive view of patients with kidney disease -- their attitudes and quality of life, their involvement in and satisfaction with care, their preferences around medication formulations, their perspectives on medication compliance and barriers to compliance and their information needs and preferred learning methods.
