BKM Continues Business Growth, Announces Principal Promotions

BALTIMORE, March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Burdette, Koehler, Murphy & Associates, Inc. (BKM), a Baltimore-based full-service mechanical, electrical, and planning engineering firm, has appointed two of the firm's managers, Andrew C. Endres, Jr., PE, LEED, AP, and Rick Miller, PE, LEED, AP, to principal in order to support BKM's continued business growth and to support the firm's organizational infrastructure.

Mr. Endres joined BKM in 1986, during which time he has won several ASHRAE technology awards and has led several notable projects including John Hopkins University School of Medicine -- AIDS Research Facility, the University of Maryland Baltimore -- Animal Bio-Safety Level 3 Research Laboratory, and the University of Maryland --Baltimore's Cancer Research Laboratory. As principal and director of mechanical engineering, Mr. Endres will continue to provide designs for university, healthcare and educational clients; he will also continue to mentor staff, and lead design teams. Mr. Endres holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

Mr. Miller, joined BKM in 2006, during which time he has served as lead electrical engineer for projects including the VA Martinsburg Capital Regional Readiness Center (CRRC) Datacenter, and the Walker Jones K-8 School in Washington, D.C. As principal and director of electrical engineering, Mr. Miller will continue to provide designs for university, healthcare and educational clients; he will also continue to mentor staff, and lead design teams. Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
