Where the Money Goes
In response, Guardians of the Gulf, along with other NGOs along the Gulf Coast, has been working to address the growing number of health issues and concerns among the Gulf Coast residents. The need for health care resources continues to increase as a direct result of not only the exposure to oil fumes and dispersants, but also the severe lack of properly trained medical professionals knowledgeable in the chemical illnesses resulting from exposure to the toxic oil and dispersants.
