Blackbird Group Announces Record Growth for 2011

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Blackbird Group, a leader in automation and compliance management, announced outstanding results today for the year 2011. This continues its history of strong, profitable growth, driven by innovation and a customer-focused culture. Among its achievements for the year are major industry awards, new product launches, and increased media attention. All of which contributed to revenue growth of 110%, compared to the previous year, as well as a significant increase in its customer base and the number of seats under its management.

Products and Technology

Blackbird expanded its product line in 2011 with the launch of two new audit and compliance focused modules for the Blackbird Management Suite of products Blackbird Auditor for File System provides scalable and flexible real-time auditing of Windows file servers with powerful searching, reporting and alerting capabilities. Blackbird Event Vault consolidates Windows native log entries into a single on-premises or cloud-based repository for centralized management and reporting of all event log data.

Blackbird has a strong commitment to cloud computing and has made Event Vault the first of its products to be Azure-enabled. The company has plans to similarly enable its entire suite of products in the near future.

Industry and Media Recognition

The well known industry analyst, Craig Burton, of KuppingerCole, reviewing the Blackbird Management Suite, praised Blackbird's capabilities.
