The annual iNACOL Innovator Awards distinguish individuals for exceptional research, innovative learning practices, and outstanding contributions in blended and online learning.
After more than 30 years teaching, Barr transformed her 2nd grade classroom through innovative use of blended learning. Through creative implementation of technology and inventive practices in the face-to-face classroom, she has been able to tailor instruction to meet the needs of each learner in her class. With the support of flipped lessons for both reading and math, each of Paula's students works at their own pace to meet the necessary competencies and beyond.
