Blackboard Promotes The Creation Of Inclusive Online Learning Environments At 32nd Annual CSUN Conference
Company continues to lead the way in providing accessible education solutions that meet the needs of diverse learners
WASHINGTON, Feb. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of Blackboard's continued commitment to creating truly inclusive experiences in education, several of the company's experts will share knowledge and best practices around accessibility in education during the 32nd CSUN Assistive Technology Conference, being held February 27 to March 4 in San Diego. During multiple presentations led by Blackboard leaders and its institutional partners, conference participants will learn practical strategies that they can implement at their own institution to create more inclusive educational experiences for all learners.
Among the topics explored during these presentations will be strategies for motivating developers to build accessible technologies; trends and patterns in the accessibility of course content; and accessibility improvements to Moodlerooms.

This session will bring together data across many types of institutions and provide insight into the current state of affairs in course content accessibility, the trends and patterns across institutions, and practical ways in which attendees can start understanding and tackling the problem at their institution.
