LENOX, Mass., July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The newly renovated Blantyre, a Relais & Châteaux country manor hotel, nestled in the scenic Berkshires, announces the official opening of "The Cloisters," its Champagne Salon. Dom Pérignon selected Blantyre for the first-ever year round salon in North America.
As the only one of its kind in the United States, the Champagne Salon offers exclusive Dom Pérignon varietals as well as indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy inventive libations and fresh fare throughout the year.
Surrounded by Blantyre's neatly manicured flora and fauna, The Cloisters is the secluded garden patio inspired by the abbey of Dom Pierre Pérignon that seats 24 and features a clever "Tin to Table" menu with an upscale twist on caviar. Inside, guests can seek refuge at La Cave, a sleek underground hideaway located next to Blantyre's internationally acclaimed wine cellar. Adorned with original brick and marble stonewalls, this 30-seat speakeasy is comprised of a classic Dom Pérignon aesthetic including rich charcoal hues and gold with brass accents. Uniquely to La Cave, there are vintage Dom Pérignon bottles on display that showcase the exalted champagne's evolution. The Champagne Salon will serve exclusive specialty selections including Vintage Trinity, Dom Pérignon 2009, P2 Vintage 2000 and Rosé 2005.
