Bloomberg Tradebook Releases New Features for its Futures ISV Platform

NEW YORK, Dec. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bloomberg Tradebook, Bloomberg's global agency brokerage business, today announced several new updates to its Futures ISV platform that help traders quickly find, sort and view data more efficiently to build and execute on futures trading strategies.
Bloomberg Tradebook's Futures ISV was recently named Best Buy-Side Commodities Trading Platform by the Waters Technology Buy-Side Technology Awards 2015 in part because of these recent enhancements. Winners of this award program are selected by seven judges, five buy-side-focused technology consultants and two of Buy-Side Technology's editors.

Enhancements to Bloomberg Tradebook's Futures ISV include new blotters that enable traders to quickly filter, sort and view data in a multitude of ways with streamlined efficiency, so that they can focus on important data points. Order stitching has also been upgraded so users can automatically stitch bundle trades together without having to break up orders post-trade.
A new fixed-income cash platform was also launched this year that includes electronic connections to Nasdaq's eSpeed and BrokerTec.

The custom index trading functionality is another aspect of the platform to receive enhancements. Futures ISV enables users to connect custom indexes to futures and fixed income trading platforms, allowing them to use multi-leg strategies commodities, rates and equity index-futures trades. Tradebook now offers traders the ability to easily and quickly trade an options/equity pair while leveraging sophisticated technology to seek best execution for both contracts and shares.
