Blue Canopy Wins Large Enterprise IT Services Contract to Support Defense Intelligence Community
RESTON, Va., May 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Blue Canopy Group, LLC, a woman owned small business provider of innovative technologies and solutions for mission-critical national security programs, announced today that it was competitively selected to receive a prime contract, under a $6.6 billion multi-award contract from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to provide worldwide Information Technology (IT) support services to the Government. The services include enterprise, end-to-end life cycle IT support from requirements analysis through system design, development, fielding, and sustainment of global Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and the intelligence components of Command and Control (C2) system assets that are vital to the security of the United States.
The award of the highly competitive Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE) contract was made officially on 14 May 2010. The multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has one base-year and four annual option years. Blue Canopy was one of 5 small businesses that were awarded a prime contract.
