BlueRock Energy Hosts "Save the Skin" Golf & Dinner Fundraiser

WHO:   

BlueRock Energy, Inc. is hosting the 1st Annual "Save the Skin" Golf & Dinner Fundraiser to support the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF), the largest independent organization devoted to increasing awareness about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of melanoma.

WHAT:

The "Save the Skin" Golf & Dinner Fundraiser encourages the general public to attend and enjoy a day of golf, dinner and entertainment. The event begins with a golf tournament in the afternoon, followed by a catered dinner in the evening with entertainment from the Custom Taylor Band. Attendees will also be given the chance to bid in a silent auction and register to win prizes during the evening program. All proceeds will benefit the MRF in its ongoing commitment to advance medical research in finding effective treatments and eventually a cure for melanoma.

Items for the silent auction include:

   - Guitar autographed by Maroon 5's Adam Levine and James Valentine

   - Buffalo Bills helmet autographed by Aaron Williams (#23)

   - 2 Pre-Season Tickets to New York Giants vs. New England Patriots on August 28th
      at MetLife Stadium (includes Toyota Coaches Club Buffet and parking pass)

   - Guitar autographed by Rob Zombie

   - 2 Tickets to If/Then on Broadway starring Idina Menzel at the Richard Rodgers Theatre
      on September 9th 

   - 2014 Washington Nationals team-autographed baseball and Washington Nationals
      baseball cap

   - Buffalo Bills jersey autographed by Eric Wood (#70)

WHY:

In January 2014, BlueRock Energy's President and CEO Phil Van Horne was diagnosed with melanoma. He was very fortunate because his cancer was found early enough to be successfully treated, and now he is cancer-free. BlueRock Energy has teamed up with MRF to help raise awareness of melanoma and its warning signs.

Scramble & Shamble Format is $950 per team and $250 for a single ticket. Individual registration
for the dinner program only begins at $125. If you are not able to attend, all donations -
