Dr. Joseph J. Wakshlag graduated from Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He continued his residency training in both pathology and nutrition, as well as receiving his PhD in Pharmacology in 2005. He became a boarded Veterinary Nutritionist in 2008, and more recently became a founding diplomate in the College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. He will continue to hold his position as the Associate Professor of Clinical Nutrition, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at Cornell University.

Dr. Justin Shmalberg directs the integrative veterinary medicine service and training program at the University of Florida.  He is a board-certified specialist in both sports medicine and rehabilitation as well as clinical nutrition.  His academic and clinical interests include dietary supplements, natural diets, validation of integrative therapies, and rehabilitative nutrition.
