Bodycad Names Daniel Berry, M.D. as Chief Science Advisor

QUEBEC CITY, Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bodycad has named former American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) President Daniel Berry, M.D. as its Chief Science Advisor. Dr. Berry is chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, L.Z. Gund Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and a trustee at the Mayo Clinic.

"Dr. Berry has 25 years of experience in clinical practice, long involvement in clinical research, and expertise in orthopaedic implant design," says Jean Robichaud, founder and CEO of Bodycad. Dr. Berry has received recognition and award for his clinical research from the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation, the Hip Society and the Knee Society. He is the author or co-author of more than 190 peer-reviewed publications and 70 book chapters and has been the editor of several books on hip and knee arthroplasty.
