Bogardus most recently served as senior vice president of Corporate Operations for SeaBright Insurance Company. Prior to that, he worked in a couple of other capacities, including senior resident vice president for the Western Region and senior vice president for Underwriting Operations. Bogardus' other workers' compensation insurance field experience includes working for 17 years in a variety of capacities for Safeco Insurance Company, including region underwriting manager, region sales manager, commercial division vice president, and assistant vice president of workers' compensation.
Bogardus currently lives in Sammamish, Wash., with his wife, Elizabeth, and two daughters, Lauren and Kaitlyn. He and his wife, Elizabeth, participate in various fundraising efforts to support several charitable organizations with a particular interest in the Children's Tumor Foundation and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Bogardus earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in risk management and insurance, from the University of Georgia.
