CHICAGO, Nov. 19, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago (BOMA/Chicago) announced today that Robert Six, chief operating officer at Zeller Realty Group, was elected president of its board of directors. Along with six new members of the BOMA/Chicago board, Six was elected during the association's 2010 Annual Meeting, held last night at the InterContinental Chicago.
"We want to thank our outgoing board president, Maureen Ehrenberg, and former board members Paul Dunn, Teresa Mancuso and Jon DeVries for their years of support and dedication to BOMA/Chicago," said Michael Cornicelli, executive vice president, BOMA/Chicago. "We are fortunate to have some of the most experienced and visionary members of Chicago's commercial real estate community serve on our board, and we are thrilled to usher in this new chapter of leadership."
Under Six's leadership, the board will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of BOMA/Chicago, the oldest BOMA Association in the world. The board is comprised of 22 commercial real estate executives with an average of more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

Six currently serves as chief operating officer at Zeller Realty Group, where he oversees the operations of the company's four million square foot portfolio of properties located throughout the Midwest. During his more than 28 years in commercial real estate, Six has made it a priority to mentor young professionals and has taught numerous Real Property Administrator courses presented by BOMA/Chicago. Widely recognized for his industry leadership, Six has chaired the Greater Chicago Food Depository's marquee fundraiser, the Commercial Real Estate Awards Dinner, and is a past president of the Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association and the Chicago Commercial Real Estate Organization. Six currently serves on the Commercial Real Estate Organization's advisory board and the board of directors of the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association.
"BOMA/Chicago is a valuable asset to Chicago's commercial real estate community, and I am proud to be a part of its leadership team," said Six.
