Born And Raised Detroit Foundation To Be #Zimming This Thanksgiving
GROSSE POINTE, Mich., Nov. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ZIM'S Vodka, the ultra-premium, gluten-free potato vodka, has partnered with Born and Raised Detroit Foundation as an exclusive sponsor for their upcoming Detroit and Chicago charity fundraisers. The 4th Annual Motown Throwdown in Chicago will be held on Saturday, November 7th, and the 9th Annual Gobble Wobble in Detroit will be held on Saturday, November 27th.
100% of the combined proceeds will benefit Born and Raised Detroit Foundation's effort to grant $10,000 to "Racquet Up Detroit," an out-of-school youth development program which uses squash, in combination with fitness, academic tutoring, community service, college exposure, summer opportunities, and mentoring, to make a difference in the lives of Detroit youth. The $10,000 will cover all costs for youth that are participating in the upcoming Urban Team Nationals in Boston at Harvard University.
