BornFree Eco-Friendly bottles are available in 5oz and 9oz Eco Classic and Eco Deco varieties. After use, these bottles can be returned to BornFree where they will be recycled into other products such as toys and furniture.

In addition to the new eco-friendly line of products, BornFree is also announcing the results of a new clinical study which shows that using BornFree® ActiveFlow™ effectively reduces colic symptoms in babies. All BornFree baby bottles, including the new Eco-Friendly line, feature the BornFree ActiveFlow venting system; an innovative two-part venting system specially designed to reduce the vacuum build-up inside bottles that can often lead to gas, spit-up and painful colic in newborns.

The study compared the observed symptoms of otherwise healthy newborns (2-20 weeks) who had been diagnosed as having colic symptoms such as crying, discomfort, fist clenching and sudden pain spasms. Within 7 days, a significant improvement was observed in 80% of the babies using BornFree ActiveFlow bottles: significantly less crying, less irritability, less fist clenching and other common colic symptoms. A further improvement was observed one week after. Conversely, the control group who did not use the system and continued to use their current brand, showed no signs of improvement.

BornFree Eco-Friendly baby bottles are 100 percent BPA-free as well as free of phthalates. All BornFree Eco-friendly bottles are made from new, unused materials. When there is no more use for the bottle, parents can simply return it to BornFree. Then, instead of going into a landfill, this sustainability program redirects the bottles to a recycling facility for reuse in the manufacturing of other goods; thereby reducing waste and impact on the environment.
