Bourns Awarded 2009 Resistor/Capacitor Commodity Supplier of the Year by Rockwell Collins

RIVERSIDE, Calif.,, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced that Rockwell Collins has named Bourns its 2009 Resistor/Capacitor Commodity Supplier of the Year.  At its Annual Supplier Conference, Rockwell Collins acknowledges the significant contributions made during the past year by its suppliers.  The Supplier of the Year Award is based upon superior quality, delivery, total cost of ownership, lead time and customer service.  Rockwell Collins' Senior Vice President of Operations Jeff Moore presented the award to Mario Zuchovicki, vice president and general manager of Bourns' resistive products division, at the conference.  Rockwell Collins recognized only 22 companies out of their approximately 10,000 suppliers for awards.  Bourns was also selected as one of three finalists for the prestigious Rockwell Collins 2009 President's Award.
