Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northwest Suburbs Opens $13.2 Million Foglia Woodlands Impact Center

CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Welcoming 250 + families, supporters and community leaders, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northwest Suburbs (BGCNWS) opened its new Foglia Woodlands Impact Center with a ribbon cutting and facility tour.

The event recognized The Foglia Family Foundation, whose contribution helped BGCNWS complete its capital campaign and bring the $13.2 million project to fruition.

"The Foglia Family didn't just help us finish a building — they gave thousands of kids in our community a place to belong for generations to come," said BGCNWS CEO Amanda Schleede. "Their generosity, and belief in what our members are capable of, is the reason this Center exists. We are proud to carry their name and vision forward."

The 41,000+-square-foot facility has the capacity to serve 550 middle and high school students from Barrington and Carpentersville (Districts 220 and 300) providing college and career readiness, skilled trades education, mental health services and workforce development opportunities.

Through the center's Club-to-Career Pathway Directors and Life Mentors, members receive one-on-one guidance to identify interests, explore careers and connect with educational and employment opportunities.
