BPV Expands Fixed Income Line Up With Agency MBS Strategy

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- BPV Capital Management (BPV) is pleased to announce that it has added a sixth fund to its lineup of mutual fund products: the BPV High Quality Short Duration Income Fund (BPVSX).

"The current low interest rate environment may present unattractive risks across much of the fixed income spectrum, regardless of whether rates rise or not," said Steve Turi, BPV's Chief Investment Officer. "Therefore, we believe that short duration agency MBS provides very attractive risk-reward opportunities while potentially mitigating interest rate, credit and liquidity risks."

The BPV High Quality Short Duration Income Fund seeks stable income and low volatility by attempting to mitigate typical fixed income risks. The Fund specializes in US Agency Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), where the portfolio management team's extensive experience in Agency MBS security selection may add value.
