NEW YORK, May 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- KRC Research, a leading strategic communications research firm, today announced the appointment of Bradley Honan as chief executive officer, effective immediately. In this role, Honan will focus on client service and strategic growth for the firm.
An expert in corporate reputation, brand equity, qualitative and quantitative research methods, and media monitoring and measurement, Honan will drive the firm's expansion and develop new research products. Most recently, Honan was a senior vice president at Edelman's StrategyOne research company. Prior to joining StrategyOne, Honan was a vice president with the polling firm of Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates.
Honan's career has centered on working with high-profile political leaders as well as large-enterprise businesses. He has worked on behalf of political candidates including: Senator Hillary Clinton, Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Governor Jon Corzine, New York City Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum, and Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, among others. Honan's corporate work has spanned various industries, including: consumer products, healthcare, financial services, energy, media and entertainment, as well as assorted trade groups and industry associations. Previous client engagements include: General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Con Edison and AOL Time Warner.
Honan holds a master's degree in Survey Research and Analysis from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor of arts from that same university. In addition, he has studied at the London School of Economics. Honan is a member of the American Association of Political Consultants and the Public Relations Society of America.
Jennifer Sosin will remain as KRC's President and Victoria Sneed will continue to lead KRC's Washington office as well as KRC's efforts on NGO positioning and CSR communications.
