BrandCinema Launches at SXSW With Four New Web Series Partners
AUSTIN, Texas, March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SXSW -- New digital development company BrandCinema marks its launch today by announcing partnerships on four new dramatic series with some of the best writers in the online digital space, including WGA award winner Tina Cesa Ward and nominee Daryn Strauss and Webby winner Andrew Leitch.
"We decided to announce our launch at SXSW because it's the perfect place to marry brand interaction with creativity," BrandCinema co-founder Jennifer Warren said.
BrandCinema partners with storytellers to develop digital series co-produced with brand sponsors. The rollout fits a larger online entertainment trend toward drama and more diverse audiences. With branded entertainment on the rise, Web series are entering a new era of maturity.
Immersive story-worlds are key to the BrandCinema development process, and later this year the company will announce a Board of Advisers and tech partnerships to implement these multi-platform strategies.
