Brian Loo, formerly a Portfolio Manager at TCW, joins Garrison Point Capital

Loo has joined them as a Managing Director to manage the firm's newly formed esoteric asset-backed securities division.

Brian Loo adds almost 20 years of institutional fund management experience to the team.  He joins Garrison Point from TCW where he was a Portfolio Manager in the Structured Products group. Brian began his career in the mortgage backed securities department of TCW in 1994 and in 1996 left to become one of the founding members of Metropolitan West Asset Management, a Los Angeles core fixed income money manager.  In 2009, Metropolitan West was acquired by his alma mater, TCW, where Brian went on to manage non-mortgage structured products portfolios, including investments in collateralized loan obligations and esoteric asset backed securities.
