ST. LOUIS, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Brian Newcomer has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Business Development at Rabo AgriFinance (RAF). In the role, Newcomer will help guide RAF's strategic vision, lead the national sales force, and coordinate activities in the organization's geographic regions.
Newcomer's new role as Executive Vice President of Business Development was recently created as part of a restructuring. RAF updated its organizational model to improve support to the field offices and its focus on client needs.
"Brian will play an integral role in our growth," said RAF President and CEO John Ryan. "With his wealth of experience, Brian will help our business grow while strengthening our commitment to and focus on our customers."
Newcomer will report directly to Ryan, and work out of RAF's headquarters in St. Louis.
He has more than 25 years of agricultural lending experience and has been a part of Rabo AgriFinance's evolution since 1987. Newcomer has served as a Relationship Manager, Regional Vice President, and Managing Director of the South Central Region, where he helped triple the region's portfolio.
Newcomer grew up on a farm in western Kansas and is a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in Marketing.
