ROME, Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- David Munczinski, CEO and Founder of SaaS platform company, Brickwork Software, is to present at the first ever Innovation Hub presented at The World Retail Congress on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Munczinkski will address the importance of the omnichannel consumer and how retailers can build a better digital presence for physical stores to activate online traffic into in-store purchases.
With experience in marketing and strategy for leading global brands such as Ralph Lauren, Theory, and Levi Strauss, Munczinski started Brickwork to help leading multichannel retailers deliver more online traffic directly into physical stores. He will address the opportunity retailers have in delivering seamless customer experiences and growing retail sales by activating consumers on web and mobile through local content, shopping appointments and events.
"We're excited to attend the WRC to engage the world's leading retail executives in a dialogue around how our SaaS platform can help them reverse declining traffic to stores, maybe their single largest problem," said Munczinski.
Brickwork Software is one of eight Innovation Hub participants, each selected by the Congress to present their startup to a panel of retail CEO's. After each three-minute presentation, a jury of experienced entrepreneurs and investors will vote to nominate the company to be awarded for the "winning solution" for retailers. The Innovation Hub will be a dedicated space within the World Retail Congress networking area where all delegates congregate.
"The World Retail Congress has launched the Innovation Hub in response to demand by the senior retailers who attend the event for us to bring together some of the very best and newest ideas that they would not have seen before," said Ian, Chairman at World Retail Congress. "With retailing changing so fast now and with new ideas being developed and launched with ever greater speed, retail leaders have woken up to the fact that they need to embrace change and to seek out and work with startup businesses and technology solutions. The Innovation Hub in Rome will do just that by showcasing some great new and potentially disruptive ideas which retailers will want to learn from and hopefully partner with."
The winner will be announced at the opening of the afternoon plenary session of the conference on September 10th.
