Bridgestone Announces Grand Prize Winner of Dayton™ Commercial Truck Tires Promotion
Driver from Pennsylvania wins set of 10 Dayton tires
LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridgestone Commercial Solutions (a business of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations), today announced that Roger Errett of Mount Pleasant, Penn. is the grand prize winner of a special Dayton™ commercial truck tires competition held at the Mid America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, KY. Errett consumed close to three lbs. of bone-in, buffalo chicken wings in 10 minutes and won the grand prize, a set of ten Dayton commercial truck tires valued at USD $3,000. The buffalo wing eating contest was hosted by Bridgestone in celebration of the new Dayton campaign, Tires for Truckers™, and the introduction of eight new Dayton tire patterns.

Errett competed against seven other contest participants to win the grand prize. The participants were required to eat all of the meat from every chicken wing on their plate in 10 minutes or less. All contestants are drivers with a valid U.S. commercial driver's license (CDL) who were attending the tradeshow from across the country. Consolation prizes totaling more than $700 were given to all of the participants including, a $275 Speedco gift card and a $500 truck stop gift card.
