Bridget Baker, Former President Of NBCUniversal Television Networks Distribution, And Jonathan Adelstein, Former FCC Commissioner, To Join Board Of Directors Of InterMedia Outdoor Holdings, Inc.

TEMECULA, Calif., Feb. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoor Channel Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: OUTD) ("Outdoor Channel") and InterMedia Outdoor Holdings, LLC ("IMOH LLC") today announced that Bridget Baker and Jonathan Adelstein will serve on the Board of Directors of InterMedia Outdoor Holdings, Inc. ("IMOH Inc.") following the completion of the merger of Outdoor Channel and IMOH LLC, the primary shareholder of The Sportsman Channel and InterMedia Outdoors. The addition of Ms. Baker and Mr. Adelstein bring the number of proposed directors of IMOH Inc. to nine. The merger of Outdoor Channel and IMOH LLC is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2013.

Ms. Baker played a key role in developing NBCUniversal's cable assets from their inception, growing from the 1989 launch of CNBC to eventually include 18 national cable networks, such as Bravo, CNBC, E!, Golf Channel, MSNBC, Syfy, and USA, delivered to hundreds of millions of subscribers. Ms. Baker was NBCUniversal's first President of TV Networks Distribution, a position she held from 2006 to 2012.  As NBCUniversal President of TV Networks Distribution, Ms. Baker oversaw the North American distribution of NBCUniversal's content across the cable, satellite and telecommunications industry. Ms. Baker has been recognized with numerous industry accolades including the National Cable Television Association's highest honor in 2012: the "Vanguard Award for Distinguished Leadership."

Mr. Adelstein has served as President and CEO of PCIA - The Wireless Infrastructure Association, the trade association representing the companies that own, build, manufacture, or operate wireless telecommunications infrastructure, since 2012. Prior to leading PCIA he served as the Administrator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service. From 2002 to 2009, Mr. Adelstein served two terms as a Commissioner of the FCC. Before joining the Commission, Mr. Adelstein held a number of senior staff positions in the U.S. Senate.
