BridgeWays announces acquisition of Nubigenus

NEW HAVEN, Conn., July 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BridgeWays, a leading provider of monitoring, management and reporting solutions, announced today it had completed the acquisition of exclusive rights of the Nubigenus Ltd. software assets and intellectual property (IP).

Nubigenus is a UK-based privately-held company that provides web-based access to System Center monitoring capabilities via a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.

"Our current suite of products—Management Packs for System Center Operations Manager—are for the enterprise market, however, we recognized a need for a simplified yet enterprise-level capable monitoring solution for the SMB market," said Sanjib Kumar, Executive Vice President, Global Strategy and Business Development at BridgeWays. "Acquiring the Nubigenus IP allows us to offer a solution to the SMB market as well as the large enterprises which our solutions have traditionally served."

The Nubigenus solution has been branded Tibanna and is currently in Beta testing. Tibanna will be released in August, 2014.

Tibanna offers affordable cloud-based monitoring for small to medium-sized businesses, Managed Service Providers and enterprises. As a simplified web-based portal powered by Microsoft System Center, Tibanna is accessible from anywhere and at any time. There are no limitations to the number of endpoints that can be monitored within Tibanna.
