Bright Now Dental Brings Positive Outlook to the Phoenix Community

PHOENIX, March 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In a struggling economy with limited job opportunities, one Phoenix organization has been on a mission to improve the employment outlook while celebrating the community and those who make it better. Last June, Bright Now Dental launched the "Brighten Up Phoenix" initiative by partnering with local organizations to support the members of the community who are helping others and doing their part to improve the quality of life in Phoenix as a whole.

Each month during the first stage of the program, eight deserving, unemployed women were chosen to receive free dental care and clothing to give them the confidence they needed to tackle the job market and participate in interviews. The women were put through a transformation, receiving up to $2,500 worth of dental care from one of Bright Now Dental's Phoenix area locations, as well as professional attire from Dress for Success Phoenix and a salon makeover. Future Brighten Up Phoenix initiatives will partner with additional community groups in the Phoenix area.

Since its launch last year, the Brighten Up Phoenix program has helped many women gain momentum in their job search, and more importantly, has given them a newfound confidence and fresh start on life.

Phoenix area Bright Now Dental offices also served as drop-off locations for anyone in the community wanting to donate gently-worn business attire to be donated to Dress for Success. Since June 2010, Bright Now Dental offices have collected hundreds of items of clothing and accessories. With these donations, the program can provide interview attire and a week's worth of work clothing for approximately fifty women.

Not only does Brighten Up Phoenix change lives of deserving women, it also celebrates other programs and people in the Phoenix community that help make it better.
