Bright Power Drives Decarbonization: Measuring 20 Years of Impact on the Built Environment

Today they proudly announce, to date, they have reduced 667M Lbs of CO2 from the environment, the equivalent of removing 71,000 cars from the road or planting five million new trees.

In 2025 and beyond, an area of focus for Bright Power will be helping NYC's buildings achieve Local Law 97 compliance through comprehensive energy audits, emissions reporting, and several other compliance services. Local Law 97 requires many NYC buildings to cut emissions by 40% by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050. About 50,000 buildings must follow this rule, with the first reporting deadline in 2025. This means building owners and operators need support now to meet the law's requirements and find long-term solutions to lower their carbon emissions.
